Bridging the gap

in educational opportunities available to underserved young men and women

complete support

We're dedicated to completely supporting a select group of promising young scholars.

Through the Jordan Scholars Program, we build lifelong relationships. Family is everything to us. We view our scholars as family and we look out for them, guide them and help raise them as if they were our own.

120+ lives changed

JFF has funded four-year high school tuitions for more than 120 deserving students, all of whom have gone on to attend first-rate colleges and universities across the country.

Through need-based financial aid, JFF is committed to helping young men and women, primarily from minority communities. We provide opportunities for academic, athletic, and social enrichment to these underserved youth.

high school, college and beyond...

The Jordan Family Foundation’s mission revolves around helping underserved children thrive in life—not only as students, but also as productive members of their communities and society at large. This support continues after high school, throughout college and into adulthood, seeking to help them develop the self-confidence, character, work ethic, and life skills that will serve them well for the rest of their lives.

paying it forward

Once a Jordan Scholar, always a Jordan Scholar.

JFF provides professional networking opportunities for all scholars, past and present. We encourage all young men and women who have been through our program to give back. We connect the past and present through our mentoring program, creating close relationships between alumni and current scholars. Our mentoring program has helped build a vast network of resources in virtually all professions, including doctors, lawyers, investment bankers, entrepreneurs, professional athletes and artists.

leadership

John W. Jordan II, Founder

Our family initiated The Jordan Scholars Program in the Fall of 1994 with the purpose of creating a vehicle to give back to the community. We seek to provide educational, athletic, and social benefits that otherwise would be unavailable to young men and women from less fortunate backgrounds. It is part of a longstanding philanthropic tradition of The Jordan Family to provide a strong foundation for those deserving of a transformational life experience. The program is designed to position them to achieve success in the future by giving young men and women the opportunity to succeed academically and attend first-rate colleges and universities. The Jordan Family’s investment in The Jordan Scholars Program to-date has proven that with opportunity and hard work, these young participants can achieve at the highest level both personally and professionally.”
