become a scholar

we take this seriously and we're taking names.

Character, respect and hard work is what we expect.

Our scholars excel in all aspects of their educational experience but to be a JFF Scholar means putting the ego and the pride aside. There’s no room for that here. With strong character, deep respect and a strong work ethic, our scholars achieve success.

your future is what you make of it.

We'll help you make it better.

Some kids never get the chance to excel. We can’t help everyone but the ones we find, we go all in on and help them discover their potential. Take your first step and introduce yourself.

our support structure

Through our partner, Archbishop McCarthy High School, we'll help you discover victory in academics and athletics.

A success story first starts with character development. We believe that strong character breeds a well-rounded scholar. The journey requires support. We offer mentoring, college guidance, tutoring, transportation to all of our JFF Scholars. Our principal goal is to help our scholars get accepted into the best colleges and universities in the country and we actively engage each scholar’s family advising and connecting them with the best fit colleges.

MENTORING

Mentoring is at the core of our organization. We mentor each scholar with constant encouragement and support, instilling in them the confidence they need to succeed in high school, college and beyond into their future careers.

COLLEGE GUIDANCE

We work with each scholar and their families to help them make the best college choice possible. Our leadership team has an extensive network of college professors, coaches and administrators spread across the entire country.

TRANSPORTATION

JFF provides transportation for scholars at no cost to the family. We will coordinate with the parents, the drop off and pick up times and locations for each scholar so they can get to school and back home safely.

TUTORING

We work with the Archbishop McCarthy community to find and pay for available tutors and actively assist in coordinating with both tutor and student to ensure each Jordan Scholar has the best academic experience possible.

The JFF Scholars Program operates exclusively through our partner school, Archbishop McCarthy High School and requires all accepted scholars to enroll.

Some scholars will say it can be a bit overwhelming transitioning from one school environment to another. The experience comes with opportunities and challenges, but the adjustments and sacrifices made throughout this opportunity will pay off in lifelong dividends.

Are you ready?

Before ever building upward, a foundation must be laid to support whatever is being built.

When a structure is able to stand strong, it is because the builders dug deep down into the ground first. Without this, no matter how high we build, at some point it will collapse. We tend to send so much time building our bodies and building our minds, which is very important since football is demanding both physically and mentally. However, with our great character as the foundation, amazing skills and a great and can become like a building with a weak foundation; now matter how great it looks, and how high it stretches, at some point a collapse is going to happen, Throughout history many brilliant individuals have used their minds for harmful purposes, simply because they lacked character, Also, many talented people have attracted opportunities, but their poor character so easily destroyed them.

Ultimately your life is the sum of all of the your decisions and the quality of your character will lead to quality decisions.

Just like the first quarter of any game, the idea is the dig deep; to set the tone and attitude that we want to maintain all the way through the fourth quarter. In this first quarter, you will learn the most important and basic aspects of greta character. We refer to the following ten concepts as THE DIRECTIVES. Understanding and displaying these qualities is crucial to your development as a person. A directive is simply an order of instruction; a guidance of operation, The goal is for you to follow these directives and to make them a serious part of your daily life.
