The Foundation was thrilled this month to begin our first Annual Life Skills Series at Archbishop McCarthy High School! Last Thursday, November 30, we had the special privilege of welcoming Carl E. Brown Jr., Executive Director of The D.C. Small Business Development Center Network at Howard University. His messages about saving money, networking, professionalism, and general tips about life and making it in the real world will not soon be forgotten by The Jordan Scholars lucky enough to hear him speak. A special thanks goes out to Lydia Stutesman, McCarthy High’s Director of Annual Giving, for all her help setting up the event.
